Database creation

Image
I have designed customers database by using Excel programme. This information relates to the personal details of consumers that including names, address, postcodes, etc. Then, I created another database for products information such as product number, name, quantity, price, and stock sold, total cost, total sale, and profit. I changed the formation of the table in order to make the accessibility to the data more easier and clear. Then, I used a mathematical process to represent the total sales, then i applied this process to other cells which is an existing feature on Excel. I used the sum function to calculate the total sale. I selected the total sale cells for each product then I executed the process to see if it is work. This process applied as well on total cost and profit cells. Then, i used a pie chart to declare the percentage of products sold. The pie chart above shows the total cost for each product. This bar chart represents the profit for each product.

who invented E-commerce?

Image
The initial attempt for E-Trade was in 1971, when a group of students from Standford University and Massachusetts Institution technology tried to pay an items by ARPAnet, the first version of the internet. However, This attempt did not rank as an accurate E-Commerce processing due to the operation legality, and some technical issues related to the lack of essential E-Commerce principles (Michael, 2018). (Youtube,2013) In 1979, the first online shopping was invented by Michael Aldrich. He began using a video text and two-way messages services (Thomas, 2015). These services aim to connect customers with retailers directly and allow users to order products from their house (Youtube,2013). Presently, many companies concentrate on the technology commerce to distribute their products and obtain new customers fastly. Thus, consumers can go shopping on the internet instead of making a significant effort to compare or order products by using the traditional methods. References: Thomas, J., 201...
